I received a telephone call this evening 7:47pm on Tuesday, April 29, 2008. The caller identified herself as a researcher doing research on utility service in my area. She asked me to confirm my zip code which I did. I participated in the survey only declining to give my name at the end but basically answered all of the questions. She wished me a good night and hung up. A few seconds later I tried to use my telephone but realized the "researcher" was still on the line, complaining to someone about how I took too long to answer each question and if I had not contemplated each answer she would have been done with me a few minutes ago. I am done with these crazy researchers. I usually try to participate because there are legitimate companies out there but I am done, done, done with these companies. HANG UP IF YOUR CALLER ID READ "RESEARCH CENTER".

Lsst evening we received three phone calls from this number. The caller was apparently using a dialer and only answered at their end after we answered the phone at our end. In each case we hung up before the caller actually came on the line, but these are a disturbance that must be stopped!!

Fifth call in four days, and this time I answered. I told the caller I was not interested in doing a survey and he had the nerve to ask me why. I said it was none of his business, and we went back and forth with this kind of dialog numerous times, while I kept telling him I wanted to be taken off the calling list. Eventually I asked to speak to his supervisor, which I did. She was polite and said I won't be getting anymore of the calls from them. Not sure what that meant, but I won't hold my breath. Could it be other companies who use their service will call? I wish I could recall what company they were representing. Good luck you guys. What a pain!

multiple calls either no one on the line or when I finally did speak to someone the other night they wanted me to take a survey, I told them, "I decline to participate" and they still tried to keep me on the line.

I want this to stop. As afar as entereing the two words don't you mean (to verify your human!) "to verify you're human"?
