   If memory serves me correctly, that may be the number of the local blood bank, that calls on occasion to remind us that we are due to donate again. But they always come in as "Unknown Caller," and will not leave a message.

   Yes, I did verify it today, first by blocking my caller ID info from going out, dialing *67. Then I dialed the #. It definitely belongs to the, Blood Centers of the Pacific. The more they call and bug me (I don't answer, letting it go to my machine), the longer I wait to go in. It is an important thing to do, but at my convenience, not theirs.
