You all need to grow up and do some research. This particular number is from a company called Voice Exchange, which is simply a company that acts as a go between for Deaf recievers on one end of a conversation (they act in place of a TTY which is a specialized phone system that allows Deaf people to call others that have a TTY). There are endless possibilities as to why you receive a call from this number, and let's not forget HUMAN ERROR as it is possible that the deaf individual or the go between translator operator, may have keyed in the wrong number.

I received four calls from this number on 2-5-8. This is after a day of receiving calls from what I believe to be a telemarketing female employee. It appears she is a scout for insurance compaines looking to sell insurance to Medicare receipants, She calls from SBC SERVICING. I told her once I would report her to Medicare if she called me again. It apparently went in one ear and out the other, all she did was change to another phone. Now I have decided, to let her do what she wants to do in the first place, sell our personal information out to the companies interested; when those companies send representatives calling such as from this (713-226-2555 CSI??) for conformation of interest; I will reason with them, explaining these telemarketing folks are ingenious headhunters, who like nothing more than to harass folks. Perhaps, if we waist a little of their time they won't be so eager to use telemarketing. I called this number back after the last call I received, which was last night--their service answered with "CSI, No One Here At This Time, Please Leave A Message." I am confident this is a insurance company looking to sell Medicare supplimental policies.

Yep same thing, I am getting about 15 calls a day, I never answer anymore, because I know they arent. but the phone calls are way more numerous. How can we stop these bastards? I already reported them to the do not call list about a month ago

OK, "Grow Up". If you Google this number you'll see that many people are getting hang up calls from this number, usually several times a day. It doesn't surprise me that these people are upset because it's very disruptive.

Received a call from this number this morning. Caller ID said: VOICE EXCHANGE. Answered to a recording selling cheap medical coverage insurance or something. Press 1 to talk to operator, or press 9 to be removed. I just hung up and reported the number to both the national and TX PUC Do Not Call complaint websites. The response from GROW UP above stating this is human error is bull$hit! This is a bogus telemarketing company using a phony caller ID.

Found this on another website: HANG up when you see 713-226-2555 or 772-664-4005 on your caller id. Simply by saying "yes" or "pressing any key on your keypad" will authorize these group of losers to charge on anyone of your bills - either phone, credit card, or cell phone. They don't care...all they need is a couple hundred people to do this and they'll end up making a cool $200 without lifting a finger! HANG UP, HANG UP, HANG UP! These folks are tied to ILD Teleservices 800-433-4518 who's the billing agent for Universal Voice Services 866-473-1980 who represent these scams.

Not sure who it is that keeps calling but they hang up after I say "Hello". This bothers me since it is a few times a week. They called on 6-26-08 at 5:46 pm and said nothing. I reported it to the do not call registry. 6-27-08 2:03 PM they called again. I called that number number and the recording said: "GSA, no one is here to take your call, please leave a message." Then after a click or two the recording said "there is no more message space and to call back later, Sheesh! How do we stop this invasion of our privacy? GRRRRRRRRRRR

Received a call from 713-226-2555 on Oct 27,2009. at 9:26 AM A Woman said that Physicians Health Choice ( Health Ins. Co. my husband and I now have will no longer be serving the Amarillo TX area starting Jan 1, 2010.) We were aware of this months ago, but the woman who called said they were going to offer other Health Ins. plans and that someone would give us a call in the next couple of days so when was a convenient time to call us? Upon checking to see if this was true I found out it was a scam. My caller ID said the call was coming from Voice Exchange.
